heres the deal...05 f150 4x4...getting a grinding noise from the drivers side front hub....i replaced the seloniod on the firewall...noise still there....i put vacum pump on the vacum lines at the firewall going to the hubs...will not hold vacum....i disconnected the vacum line from the drivers side hub...blocked off the lines....i once again put the vacum pump on the lines at the selonoid going towards the hubs and it holds a steady vacum...so the drivers side hub is definately the problem....what part do i need to order? and is this part a dealer part only? thanks in advance....

 

When the solenoid goes bad, it can take out an IWE. Sounds like that's what happened to you. Check this thread out for everything you need to know:
