Well, I did my DIY fix... It is not pic worthy unfortunately but it will do for now...

Go for it Patman! There are 3 little clips that hold the cap in place - once they break you can't get it to line up or sit right. I super glued mine in but it doesn't fit flush as it should. Maybe I'll look for a new assembly some day...

is there a way to do a conversion to have my shifter on the floor. mine is on the column and i just like the look of them on the floor.
