Hi guy's, I hope this hasn't been asked a lot of times, if it has, I apologize, I'm at work and have limited net time.

Anyway, I am about to get my truck repainted and wanted to know if I buy the lower half of a 2008 front bumper, will it hook up to an 04? I know a 2004 bumper has different mounting points from an 08 (from you guys), but what if I bought the lower half? Can I hook it up to the top half of my 04 bumper?

I would not consider it if my truck didn't have the corney Chrome bumpers, I hate them! So since painting the chrome ones is a hustle, I'll get the painted ones, but the chrome is on the bottom half of the bumper and I saw on ebay where they were selling the bottom half of both 04 and 08 bumpers, so that's where I got the idea.......

I want the round lights of the 2008 F150, I think they look better with the Roush Chin lip which will be next on my list.

 

Never mind guys, I got my answer, I'll just shop for an 06 bumper with the round fog lights.

 

Funny, as squared off and boxy as this body style F150 is, I always felt the round fogs were out of place... To each their own though...

You could have the chrome on yours stripped, and the bumper painted....

 

I've always liked the rectangular fogs better as well, and having had both an '04 with the rectangular and '06 with the round I thought I got much better output from the rectangular lights.

 

I finally got my old body guy, he said he can paint the chrome bumpers and they won't chip or peel, so that's ton's of saving..........

The square fogs are also growing on me, I don't know which one looks better with the roush lip................... But since cost is an issue, I'm thinking of sticking with what I have.
