Truck pull?
I hooked to a 3/4 ton before. Thought i might have a chance with the 4.88's. It was an 03 chevy 2500HD...His is 360lbft. 6.0 gas v8 4.11 gears(Looked his specs up) 33's terra graps and some kind of tune. He pulled me relatively easy haha But i was looking his first gear is like a 5.61:1 my first gear is a 2.84:1 i believe. Might have been a tad not sober tho idk..

With that said, you will grenade your transmission doing this. And doing it drunk? Real responsible.

He could have had the weak 5.3 and still would have pulled you. 3/4 truck weighs a ton more. Weight of the vehicle is a major factor in a pull, more so than your first gear ratio.

Our county fair has local stock 4wd truck pull. They have 3 classes. The first one is up to like 400 cubic inch, then they have anything above that. Then they have an open class that you can run with modifications. They just go by distance so there is no pull off at the end. You have to reside in our county or a surrounding county to be eligible. It's kind of neat to see someone pull a truck, then later on they try and sell it locally.

A ranger could prolly pull a 1 ton dually, long as the dually breaks the tires loose first. Hookin up hitch to hitch is no way to tell "which truck is better"
Roush that sounds like is would be a good time. I have heard of street stock class before but your county sounds more fun.
Not even comparable to a sled pull!!

Um the REAL WORLD. ha ha. Two trucks on asfalt... Not consistant at all. (ok I admit maybe not a Ranger) but two trucks on dirt where they belong, thats a comparison. Its just fun!!
