factory head unit cuts out in my 08
Lately my radio cuts out if I turn it up just under half. It doesn't do it if I bang on it or hit a bump just when I turn it up. Has anyone one delt with this before? Any info would be nice I'm about ready to smash it. Thanks guys!

Pull it out and check the connections in back. Just pop the trim panel off and there are 4 small bolts/screws holding it in. If nothing is loose then most likely just a short in the radio. You can get used OEM radios fairly cheap on ebay or just use it as an excuse to upgrade to an aftermarket one!
