I am Installing an isimple ISFD74 into a 2005 F150 FX4. The radio is marked Jan '05, has MP3 printed on the front, and is the audiophile unit (has aux button). When I hit "aux", I only get "No Aux Input". The Ipod recognizes the gateway, but not the head unit. Has anyone had this problem? Are the dip switches noted correctly in the manual? HELP!

 

Not sure if you figured out the problem yet but just b/cause it says mp3 on the headunit doesnt mean it will be compadible with the gateway. The best thing to do is call isimple technical support and tell them your gateway model # (ISFD74) and your h/u part number (should be 5LS...........). They can tell you if the two are compadible together. You should have all dipswitches turned off when you install. And if your having an issue with your display then you should swith #1 to on.
