The Horn

I have an 07 f150 4x4. The horn is not working. I checked the fuse and it looked okay. Anyone know where the actual horn is located? or had similiar problems.

its by the passenger front wheel. If you lay on the ground and look up you'll see it
(or at least thats the case on my 2004)

perhaps you have water in it? I had an old car and the horn got water in it and died... fix was to put a new horn on it.

Thank you. I bet you are right. The temp here dropped to -21 yesterday morning and I think it froze the internal components. I am going to see if it will work once we thaw out. If not I will replace it.

Thanks again for your reply.

it seems like a lot of people are having problems with their low tone horn failing first, you might now be experiencing problems with your second (high tone) as well.
I replaced mine with two aftermarket low tone horns for a meaner louder sound.

Sounds like a great time to upgrade to some train horns.

Yeah it would be nice to have that blast when you get cut off in traffic. That is how I found out it was not longer working!
