Has anyone received the P2100 service engine code? If so what did you find wrong? This is the first code the truck has thrown in 88,000 miles, it went into limp mode and was running ruff. I shut the truck down and then restarted it and it ran fine after that. I also cleared the Edge and it hasn't came back yet, I am just looking for suggestions.

P.S. I did look it up and it said something about the throttle position?????

 

OK truck did it again today Codes are 2100, 2104, 2107, 2110 and 2111 anyone with any suggestions?

 

You have electronic throttle issues. It may need to be replaced.

 

From what I am reading on other sites on the web, it looks like I may have to put a new throttle body on it.

 

For anyone who would like to know. I fixed my problem it ended up being the throttle body. Now here's the kicker, dealer want $1000 to diagnose,part and install. With my Edge for codes and a little Internet searching and $328 for the part I was done.

To change it you take the air cleaner of (5 bolts an elect plug and a vac hose) and then the throttle body (4 bolts 2 elect plug). Then reverse steps and you done, very easy 30 min job.
