I want to put light to shine on my steps when i open the doors. Does anyone know a kit available or what wire i need to go through to make this happen.

 

I've got a set of Big Rice Ice lights on my Screw that do what you're talking about. This isn't mine, but here's a video of them in action on someone else's truck:

They aren't too hard to install so long as you're patient. I used a wire on the passenger side under the trim (black with blue stripe) to tie into the interior dome light so they come on when the interior lights come on. As a bonus you get running lights and turn signals too.
