Rancho myride wireless installation

Hey guys, I just got my free myride controller in the mail today. Is it hard to install by yourself or should I just get the local 4 wheel parts to do it? I've seen all over the internet that it is actually easy but am a little weary about it. Thanks!

Everyone has different mechanical abilities and experiences. If you're not comfortable doing it after reading the instructions, hire it out.

Thanks man! Yeah, I've got plenty of buddies with skills working on cars.

Does anybody know a good place to mount the compressor and the receiver? Thanks!

Hi.

Wellsir, according to the manual: http://www.gorancho.com/assets/appli...ion_96399d.pdf

"B. The receiver and air compressor can be mounted in other
locations besides the engine compartment. Choose a high and dry
location that best fits your application. If extra wire is needed,
splice 14awg only. The compressor can also be mounted in any
position but should be located near the receiver. "

... so - if you don't choose to select the engine bay, (and it appears that these components are not fully sealed), what about behind the rear seat, on the cab wall?
