Bout 6 inches so far today, supposed to total around 16 by end of Wednesday. On the way to work this morning there was only one clear lane on a 3 lane highway, the others weren't that bad but even in 4wd I could feel it slipping a little. So there's my truck, and ahead of it an F250, and two large SUVs. All using the one clear lane. Young kid in a civic decides to try to pass us all in the non-clear lane and just about lost it on a bridge before he wised up.

We went through the massive ice storm in 2009 that wreaked havoc on everything. We were without power for over a week and friends in rural areas were without for a month.

I feel for you guys that are in the path of this one. We are just getting a lot of rain from it.

Yup, we're at about 18-20" right now in Tulsa, and several highways/interstates shut down. Most roads don't even have one lane clear, so if you don't have a 4x4 there's no use in trying.

Had 3" here, but the ice had screwed the whole city up. Downtown was closed today because of all the ice. Everywhere you looked nothing but a sheet of ice. On my way home today, there was a section in town where there is a 25 mph speed we all were going around 20 mph the @$$ hole behind me kept tailgating me. I was thinkin to myself Dude don't you know that the road is a complete sheet of ice?? I mean come on. Everybodys' a tough guy when it comes to bad weather only to get owned once they do screw up.
