The glare caps don't look like HD... plus if the guy doesn't have a real HD grille, odds are the headlights are knock-offs too.

I agree, if they what you're looking for and they're in the price range you're willing to pay, sounds like it'd be a good deal.

They looked like FX2-stuff to me. I can't even tell if the grill is painted or not. The FX2 has a painted grill surround, but the grill itself is a gunmetal grey. Same with the headlights. I thought the HD's had a glossy black insert in the headlight bezel?

 

You're right, they do. That's what I was referring to as the "glare cap".

Grille definitely not HD, not even FX2, no rear center support bar, but hard to tell from the tiny pic. HL's don't look HD, center cap is not black but also hard to tell for sure from the tiny pic. I'd have the seller email you full size pics to verify.

 

Well he's in town and I'm meeting him tomorrow. So yall thinking they might be fx2 lights

 

Just look at the back of them and the grill to see the fomoco. If you see them in person and it's what you want get it! If it's eBay hd look alikes just put a good bead of silicone around them and good to go.

 

They look black to me so they are not fx2 but hard to tell if they're harley knock offs. Like said just look for the ford logo on the corner and ford part numbers on the back.
