Can I replace a 2004 H-Bar Grille w/ a 2004 Honeycomb Grille?

I have a 2004 F150 STX and I am wanting to replace my H-Bar Grille with a 2004 F150 XLT OEM Honeycomb Grille without any modifications like cutting or drilling.

Is this possible?

Has anyone done it?

They are interchangeable without any modifications required.

any 2004-2008 grille will fit, no problem. they're all universal. my XL had the work truck black textured grille and I put a PTM bar style grille on. I also had a honeycomb style on on there for awhile, until i was in an accident and it got all scratched up.

That's what I thought, but I wanted to make sure before I ordered one.

The clips that hold the screws that go into the hood on the grille outlay piece are flimsy as hell. I took mine off to put a billet grille on and half of them were broken just from being driven around I guess which is odd b/c my truck was well taken care of by the previous owner.

Anyways the Bolt-Over Billet Grilles look better over the honeycomb style OEM grilles after you cut the honeycomb parts off plus its a lot easier to install. IMO.
