Tires cupping. HELP!

The title pretty much says it. My 35x12.50s are cupping. Shocks seem okay, but cup cup cup... I am running 35x12.50s on 17x9 rims and a 2.5" leveling kit... I am guessing the OEM shocks just aren't enough to control this heavy rubber. Any suggestions for upgrades would be appreciated... Truck spends most of its time in the drive these days so I am not in a huge hurry to get it fixed yet... But it is annoying when I need the truck to have that vibration...

My stock shock's were wipped at 55k miles from running large tires. May be time for replacement and maybe recheck balancing. Hope you had a nice Holiday season Dave!

Best advice all day.

Shocks are usually the cause of cupping of the outer edges of front tires.

I always replace my stock shocks with Bilsteins immediately when I buy a new truck.
"Unless it came with Bilsteins"
They are expensive but you'll never need another set. And you'll get alot more miles from your tires.

I've been running Bilsteins on all my trucks for 30 yrs. Haven't ruined a tire since.

I can't say enough about them.

Good Luck

Sorry for the super slow reply. My truck has more or less taken a back seat to a couple of other projects. Namely loosing my fat a&& gut, and building my woodworking shop...

I have heard something about Bilistein leveling shocks, would they be a good alternative to say a good shock / Autospring kit?

Now I need to chunk change aside for tires and shocks... Too many other bills, not enough incomes in the house these days to keep up with the mods I want... Oh well... Maybe I can start selling some band saw boxes or the like to raise some funds...

Sure thing, the alignment was performed 3 miles after the 2.5" install, and checked every 6 months...

Been driving the Saturn and paying bills off so the truck spends a LOT of time in the garage... As soon as I get one specific bill paid down I am planning on...

#1. 4 wheel brake job including slotted / dimpled rotors and EBC greenstuff pads
#2. MUCH improved shocks. Looking into RS9000s but I am open to options. Any suggestions?
#3. 4 new tires. moving one of the Hercs to the spare position, and going back to BFGoodrich as I get better service out of them... 35x125.0/17 MTs.

I have double / triple checked all the suspension components, bushings, ball joints, tie rods etc... everything is tight and smooth. Bounce test on the OEM shocks seems fine, but I noted a little bit of what looks like oil seepage on the right side shock. (Don't know if they are oil filled or not, but there is something that looks like oil that is in a drip running down the right shock...).
