I used a piece of 1/4" thick steel and mounted them off the center bolts of my headlights. Cut it to about 41" long and then drilled 3/8" holes at the ends. Replaced the screw & locking clip with regular bolt & nut.

I wasn't able to use angle iron for my particular lights.

I've got a shop locally that fabricated one for me. They saved the pattern on their plasma table and said they would make them for about $50 each plus shipping. I'll try to get some pics soon and put them up. It's a single piece of 1/8 inch steel plasma cut and bent. Uses two factory bolts at the bottom and relocates the stock air temp sensor and uses it's mounting hole as a center support.
