cigarette lighter question???

I am looking into where to mount aux. switches for horn/lights...

I pulled out the center panal and unscrewed the ash tray...
then I went to pop out the cigarette lighter only to find out there are 2 plugs...one on either side of the lighter that just end on the plastic plate...

anyone know what the heck these are for or what they do???

Thanks

I think its there for if you have the reverse sensor. I'm pretty sure the switch for it is mounted next to cig. lighter.
