Right Front Clicking

The other day I noticed a clicking noise from my right front end when I accelerate after starting my truck. It doesn't seem to do it except for the first couple of minutes after starting the truck. After reading post on the IWE Solenaid problem on the forum I decided to change it even though I had no problems with the old one. Could the replacement have caused the clicking? Any ideas?

I have a 2004 F150 Screw XLT 4x4 5.4L.

I have had this problem for months. Haven't been able to figure this one out. I have replaced all inner and outer tie rods, upper control arms, lower control arms, sway bar end links rotors pads...everything is new. It doesn't appear on mine to have anything to do with the tire rotation. It regularly happens when it is about to shift into 2nd gear..

It's probably the IWE itself which is part of the wheel hub....

Generally speaking, IWEs don't "click" when they're partially engaged. It's more of a "grinding / singing" noise as the splines on the axle shaft grind away at the mating parts of the IWE. And remember, a bad solenoid can cause one or both IWEs to get taken out. So, just replacing a bad solenoid may not always cure the whole problem. You need to look at the whole system.

I also replaced the IWE's and the click is still there. Hopefullt whatever it is will just break and then it will be obvious.
