I had some issues with the velcro not wanting to go back together on the first seat. For me the rope was the easiest part. With the leftover rope I just looped it through itself and tied it back, then just ran the bottom strap that goes around through a loops. Held everything tight together. Hopefully I'll get my bike rebuilt in time to scout out some trails to go down, the seats are too.
