heat issues

The heat in my 2004 F150 Super Crew Lariat seems to work sometimes and not other. It is not running hot the temp is dead center on the temp gauge. So just for the heck of it I flused the system today and replaced the thermostat and o-ring. Well everything is still the same temp still dead center on gauge and I am only getting cool air from the vents. What should I do next.

Sounds like the blend door actuator motor is gone south.....common problem. About $30 for the motor and a couple of hours. Remove radio head unit and the Glove box door. the motor is on top of the HVAC box visible through the openings (you will need small hands..three hard to get to 8MM screws)

was it hard to flush the system and replace the thermostat? im thinking of doing this do to my temp gauge is only getting to about 1/4 temp then sometimes itll go to the half mark even thought my heater is always hot. any pointers on what steps you took on fluching the system would be helpful thanks...

Mine did this last winter and it ended up being the battery.
