Is my e-brake sticking/dragging?

I need to take my '07 SuperCab to Indiana for Christmas and bring back a truckload of firewood. The ongoing vibe is driving me nuts and I've already test driven a car for the wife but I can't get myself to let go of my truck.

The vibe is in the seat, steering wheel and front end as if tires are out of balance and it gets worse the longer I drive. I've replaced three sets of tires, one set of wheels, two RF balances, alignment, front pads/rotors, struts and shocks.

It is a cool day today so I thought I would feel the calipers on all 4 wheels after driving 21 miles at 60 mph. The front two calipers were literrally cold to the touch. The back two calipers were slightly warm. I decided to feel the rotors also; the area where the e-brake pads rest was very hot to the touch; I could only rest my hand there for a few seconds.

This seems like e-brake dragging/sticking to me. Am I on the right track?

Pull them rotors, back the pads off a hair, reinstall then test drive and see if that helped.

Agreed! See how much effort it takes to pull the rear rotors. Both e-brakes on mine had siezed up hardware - took a 3# sledge to seperate them.

Good luck, let us know the result!
