ABS LIght

When I drive around town it does not come on. When I get on the interstate and reach speeds of over 65 mph plus the ABS light comes on. You csn turn the truck off and back on the light will go out but when you go above 65 it will come on. I have done no mods to it or anything. What do you all think.

The ABS light is just like the check engine light only for the brake system. You need to get the codes read and they will tell you where to start, other than that it's only a guessing game.

The cheapo code readers at Auto Zone and such will not read ABS codes, need to have a higher end unit to do that.

But if I had to guess I'd say one of your wheel speed sensors is going out. Check the wires at each wheel for chaffing/good connections. Might also have gunk built up on the tone rings.

Good luck.

sounds like a bad speed sensor. I've had one go out, similar behavior. Had it replaced under warranty, no problems since.
