A Sunny Day.. Lets take some pics.. My 2007 XLT

It was a nice day to take some pics of the truck. I've been a memeber since 2004 when I had a Red STX hence the name. In 2007, i traded the STX in and got the DSG 07 Supercrew.

Just like everyone else, i got the the mod bug. Here is a list of what I've done:

FX2 wheels,grill and chin spoiler
Gryphon Tuner - 2 custom tunes
S&B Cold Air Intake
Line-X bed liner
Custom Exhaust - X-pipe with 2 maggies and chome oval tips
Smoked tail lights and third brake light (lordfeyr)
Black headlights
LED interior lights
Weathertech floor mats
Supercrew sub box with 10 inch woofer
Patriot Decals
Bed Cover
Black Running Boards
Tinted Windows
2 inch shackle drop - rear

Here's some pics of the truck:

Weathertech Mats

Exhaust

Patriot Decal

And a Video of the Exhaust:

Very clean, good looking truck. The only mixed thoughts I have are the F150 front badge, but thats what keeps them all unique.

Pretty sharp truck. You would be hard pressed to find another just like it.

I'm definitely not a post *****, commenting on literally every thread regardless of the topic, but I felt I had to say that you may have the nicest XLT I think I have ever seen.

Those wheels absolutely set it off. IMHO I would leave the height alone. This truck just looks great as is. If I had to choose one more thing, I think I would go with body colored mirror caps and door handles. The head lights look perfect with it too.

Phenomenal eye towards aesthetics to say the least.

Did I mention how sweet those wheel look on your XLT? !!

Thanks for all the comments. I really appreciate it. Yeah, the first time I saw those FX2 wheels I had to have them. I think they look great on my truck.

I was kinda digging the chrome bumpers. I think they match well with the two tone paint job. The PTM bumpers could be an option in the future.

I was entertaining the idea of dropping the rear a couple more inches. If I did, what would the best way to do the drop? Would I have to remove the 2 inch drop shackle and buy some sort of kit? Any recommendations?

Couple of more major mods I want to do:

1. Cloth seats to leather seats - think you can buy take-off from some site for around 350.00.
2. 4.10 gears - currently have 3.55 gears - Still trying to decide if its worth the money
3. E-fans - not sure if I have the know how on the install.

I plan to keep the truck for about other 5 years. It only has 26,7xx in 3 1/2 years. I travel alot so it sits in the parking garage most of the time.

Thanks for all the great information on this site!!
