Got the new 12" billet antenna on!

Ok so it's a small $30 shipped mod but every lil bit helps. I took BigTerp's advice and went with the 12" machined billet antenna from jcwhitney. Looks a lot better than stock and no more "boooiiing" sound off tree limbs when I'm out hunting or at my ranch!!! Put a little dab of med grade loctite on the threads so it won't vibrate loose and to keep honest people honest.
Thanks Terp.

Looks good. How is the reception compared to stock?

Only had it on one eve. So far if anything it's better. I'll know more after I go to the ranch this weekend.

Looks good man!! I love mine. Bought it only for looks but I love not smacking my antenna while driving through the woods. The reception seems to be the same as stock for me.

ive gotta b honest, i dont like it at all!!

it looks too short and fat, just doesnt seem proportional to the truck, seems like it belongs on a sports car.

I did it more for not hitting on a thousand tree limbs a weekend but I think it looks good. You're entitled to your own opinion even if it's a bad one...

FYI everybody! I could not tell a difference in signal locally but when I went to my ranch signal was HORRIBLE! I couldn't even get stations that I could easily get with my factory antenna. Had to send it back and get my $ back. Looks good but functions bad when you're in the country...
