New grille!

Seems like I have rekindled the old truck mod addiction from my younger years. I like alot of them from the FX2, HD, Roush, Patman specials to the aftermarket billets. Well I settled on something different. This is the mfg picture. I will update pics of my truck next week when it gets here.
Also I'm looking for an 06 honeycomb insert only. It can be damaged as long as its on the honeycomb and not the black frame surrounding the honeycomb core. Thanks

I am thinking of getting a new grill, if I do I will have the entire assembly for sale. That is, if you want it.
If I get one, it will be next week though.

Good luck, and that's nice looking grille in the pic there.

So this is a bolt over grill, that bolts over a honeycomb grill and not an H-bar? hmmmm I have an H-bar and am not sure if I want to have to buy a honeycomb as well.

That grill looks pretty SWEET!

I went to the DUX site and checked on the price.

$105.00 for the grill + $9.68 shipping to IL for a grand total of ONLY $114.

So the question is....did you mis-type your $144? If not hopefully you didn't place the order yet so you can save yourself $30 BUX !!!!

Either way, it's a really nice looking grill.

Nice grill. Too bad its not black and its a bolt-over. I don't like the looks of bolt-overs since you can always see that its a bolt-over grill and doesn't look as clean as a full replacement.

I second that, but I wonder how noticeable it would be with a honeycomb grill behind it painted black?

I think it will look pretty good and wont be able to notice it too much. I think this will probably be my next grill.

It might look alright painted black but wouldn't know unless I saw it first. Besides, I'd have to buy a honeycomb grill also because I have an h-bar grill now.

You won't notice it much unless you leave the Ford oval on the factory grill behind it. Believe me, I've seen it before.

Thanks everybody,
Titan, Thanks I don't need the complete assy just the honeycomb. But who knows I might break mine taking it appart. Let me know a price shipped to 38671 thanks.
RMS8, Just got off the phone with Andys and DUX. DUX is saying that their website is down for orders and the shipping rates are going to be changed and it would also be more for residential. Sounded like they only want to ship to retailers. So if you order one ship it to a business if you can.
As far as the overlay and replacement grille differences, I agree. I don't like seeing the oem behind the overlays either. Thats where the other oem honeycomb gille insert comes in. After I figure out what is needed to mount the overlay the rest of the honeycomb is gettin cut out. I'm even thinking about getting a chrome honeycomb insert instead of the black one I have now to eliminate the black ring between the surround and the overlay. I'm ready to get it installed but not to the point I will sacrifice the look.

Same site has a full replacement that looks similar:

Who wants to be the guinea pig and buy one?
