The 'door ajar' light comes on and stays when the doors are fulling close and tight. Any ideas?

spray wd40 in the latch mechanism, the switch is simply gunked up. Search for the thread, you are one of many people that have had this problem...the wd40 worked wonders.

Bad and Good news! Happened again...Door Ajar light on the dash came on and this time it stayed on until I reached the dealer...also, the alarm had sounded the previous evening. They found a 'soft code' and changed out the driver side door switch. Ok so far...Good thing through this whole battle, no cost to me!
