Recommend a lower profile antenna??

Wanting a shorter than stock antenna that actually improves signal. Is there such a thing? Anybody got one?

I have a 15" black powercoated billet one, no real inprovement in the signal over the stock one, but it look's cool.

I have the 8 inch antenna. Works great. Got it from Americanmuscle.com for 19.99. The mustang antenna & F150 are the same .

Mine is a 12" black powdercoated one from JCWhitney. I think I paid around $20 for it. Definitely looks better than stock.

Some members went with this one, with very little complaints. I'm guessing it's the shortest one you can get that is still an antenna.

Stealth. Bigterp and 8up,

Did you loose signal when you went to these shorter antenna? I thought there was a shorter one that actually improved signal...?

i gotta do something about mine too. its crazy long from the factory. lol. i might just cut mine down and put the ball back on. or i might get that one bigterp posted, looks clean.

But the stubby does not increase reception? Is there one that does?

Didn't notice a difference in reception either way
