Seems like a good deal to get it lifted for that cheap.
Most guy who have lifted 4x4s never see dirt either so go ahead. I think its a north/south thing. I never saw a lifted 2wd until I got to the south. Even trying to find a 4wd can be challenging at times LOL.
Have you thought about gears as well? I see you already have a tuner for the tire sizes.

Yea i may stick some gears in it but its no priority. What would some 4.55's with LS cost me?
I understand the "risks" of having big tires and small gears. However, my brother survived 100k miles with 3.55's with 37's. It was just, well, slow.

i am giving my brother the AK for the lift and spacers. if i decide i need another ak i will go pick one up. i bought my ak for 400 bucks, with 500 rounds and some other little stuff.

Its my own opinion you guys dont have to get butt hurt about it. Where im from where it actually snows and doesnt stay above 50* all year, we dont see the point of a 2wd pickup. Im not saying that a 2wd doesnt have its place but i just cant justify putting a grand into lifting a pickup thats just gonna spin its two back tires when the first snow comes. Also saying that im mad that you have a 2wd drive thats lifted is ridiculous. I wouldnt say mad is the word, Confused (that fits it) you could of bought a 4wd put a lift on it and you would have a monster in the mud or swamp or whatever you guys tear up down south. Again this is my own opinion. The thread starter was thinking about putting one on his truck and was wondering what people thought so i spoke my mind. Deal with it.
Maybe the lift is just for looks. Maybe the lift is to fit bigger tires for more traction in the rain, mud, ice, or snow. Just because the vehicle doesn't have 4WD, doesn't mean it can't still benefit from a lift in some way.
Yeah, I know it's just an opinion. It's just that your opinion sucks worse than mine.
