Improving offroad capability, aka LOCKERS

Hey guys, so I got my F150 stuck the other day in a pretty big hole covered up by some grass. Probably a little less than half my front right tire was stuck in it. I've been doing some research on how to fix this because that tire was not spinning at all in 4wd and ive come upon lockers. Ive got a 3.73 limited slip in the back but am not sure if I'll need to upgrade that if I get a selective locker for the front. Im looking at the Eaton ELocker for the front right now. I dont want to make my truck completely on road incompatible because I'll be going to college next year so am looking for suggestions. Thanks!

Lockers and CV shafts just don't sound like a good combo. Toss a detroit Tru-Trac LS up front and get some good mud tires. Should do you well.
