Rear view mirror upgrade

I haven't been able to find a satisfactory answer to this and I'm hoping someone on here has the answer I'm looking for.

I have a 2006 xlt that came with an auto dimming mirror. I just bought a Gentex genk41a auto dimming mirror with homelink and was looking at the wiring on the current mirror trying to figure out what I'm going to have to do to wire in the new one. The current mirror has 3 wires going into it, one switched power, one ground and one that I can't figure out. The third wire has no power or ground connection. Does anyone have any clue what that third wire is?

Well, I found some wiring diagrams and figured it out. The third wire is a positive when the truck is put in reverse. I am guessing it must be to un-dim the mirror when backing up so you can see better at night.
