Just got done changing my plugs out this weekend and broke 2 of them off. The porceline did not break off flush with the tip on either one of them, they broke about half in the middle of the band that is between the plug tip and hex. What I did was just run the Lisle tool (the one that pushes the porceline into tip) all the way down which basically pushed the porceline all the way through the metal 'basket handle' on the very tip of the plug but the metal didn't break off and only a few small fragraments of porecline did. By pushing the porceline all the way down it should give you enough material to get a good bite. To get the porceline out of the cylinder I just cranked the engine over with the plugs out and used a shop vac to suck out any debris at the same time (the small attachment on my shopvac fit the plug well pretty well).
Did you weld that extractor to a rod to give it more length? It seems longer than normal. And what size is that extractor?

porceline is pushed down as far as the lisle tool will go, i am going to try and get a small punch in there tonight and see if i can break up all of it. Then try the lislie extractor again, if that doesnt work i will try an easy out....
You might try hitting the lisle extractor tool with a hammer (just tap it) to try and get it to seat into the plug tip abit and then remember its left hand thread. I cranked on the extractor tool until the plug tip started 'chirping' and then it came right out using the plastic washer and nut.

Well got it out....
as stated above needed to apply more pressure to the lisle extractor to get it to bite....
Had a 3/8" driver with a pipe on the handle (1/2 driver would not fit under firewall) tight to the point i could feel the extractor flexing.. using a 36" crowbar applying pressure to the top of the driver (enough force to deflect the motor about 1")
Came out with a groan!! what a relief... still have to do the back two plugs on the passanger side, but not till after my trip home for the holidays...
Thanks guys!!
