random pics on my new bumper

So i got into an accident 2 weeks ago. Hydroplaned on the freeway and ran into the guard rail. Ended up messing up my grill guard and bumper pretty bad but i think that it saved the truck from a lot more damage. I have pics of this but i can't transfer them off of my phone. Anyway i got quite a bit from insurance so i decided to get a frontier bumper replacement instead of what i had originally.
The only thing that really upset me was that i had painted my bumper myself and really liked how it turned out. It was a matte black (didn't mean for it to end up like this but looked really good) and it looked really good for doing it with spray paint. I had it for about 2 months and it didn't peel or anything. anyway on to the pics.

before with my paint job.

with the new bumper

I'll get better pics later.. it was just getting late and snapped a few.

Looks good do you still have the winch on the truck...I like that bumper with the grill guard flows with the truck looks better than before

i paid $810 for it shipped to me. its actually a really good price. A lot cheaper than a new bumper and new grill guard.

its probably the same amount if you went with OEM. If you went with 'like' OEM, you'd probably have spent a hundred / hundred and half less.

insurance gave me 300 for a bumper 200 for the lower valance and 600 for a grill guard plus all the labor for it. and all the parts were priced at reconditioned so going with the after market bumper saved me about 300 total from the insurance check.

if you have full coverage, you should have gotten at least 350 for the bumper, another 200 to paint it, 200 for valence is high but still, and the 600 for the grille guard. if I was you, i'd be bitching at them for screwing you. But even so, if you got a chrome OEM bumper, you'd have been right about where your new bumper cost you.

Good looking bumper. I've been kicking the grill guard or replacement bumpers idea around for a while now and that price surprised me. I thought they were more.

they did give me about 200 give or take 10 to paint it plus he said he would cut me a better hole for the winch and mount my fairlead. i wasn't complaining at all. i got plenty of money to cover what i wanted and have some left over so it worked out for me. no sense and bitching about something when it doesn't really matter.
