Vibration at 53-58mph

Vibration at 53-58mph

Hey everyone,

i just bought my '07 F150 XLT 4x4 on saturday and noticed that when im going betweem 53mph-58mph i have a vibration that shakes the whole cab.

At first i thought it wass a wheel out of balance but then wouldnt it do it all the time?

has anybody else had this problem? and if so what was the fix?

Get your tires road force balanced and checked for out of round.

If you take it to a decent shop for the tire/wheel inspection and balance, they should also check the front end over for loose parts. This is where you are really better off letting the pros check it out.

A tire/wheel out of balance will often do it at certain speeds.

Would it be worth bringing it back to the dealership and telling them the problem? and see if they will try and fix it since i just bought it less than a week ago?

Brought the truck in friday, the vibration was because of the wheels, they had something wrong with them so they replaced all 4 for free, gave me cheap hankook Dynapro AT, I plan on replacing them with something a that does a little better in the snow/ice

Yup the new tires fixed the vibration
They said the vibration had something to do with the Tires had been sitting to long on the shelf (they were cheap Spector tires) and they formed some kind of bulge or something that could not be fixed.
