running rich??

ok guys i have a 04 ford f150 5.4 3v with frpp hot rod cams, electric fans, jlt intake, magnaflow true duals with x-pipe, dyno tuned. After i got my new exhaust done i developed a exhaust leak on my passanger side or it might have been there before i got the new exhaust done and never noticed it. The problem is now when it sits and idles the exhaust smells really rich could it be running rich due to an exhaust leak or could something be wrong with the cats?

If its a good enough leak, it could be making the o2 sensor read lean on that bank cause it to run richer... is the rich smell from the back tho?

Yeah coming from the back when you drive behind the truck it doesn't smell rich or if I hammer on it doesn't blow black smoke maybe since the weather is turning off colder I might need to raise the rpms some for when its idling?

You should call your tuner and discuss.

Ahhh yea, well for being cammed your gonna run rich at idle in the first place but the leak is probablly not helping matters. Id up the idle a few 100 and see how it is in the colder temps and get the leak fixed as soon as possible

Yeah I need to get it fixed but I want to get my longtubes and let that be the problem solver lol. I have 90,000 miles and still have the stock plugs I probably need them changed also
