0-60 Times
Trucks are designed to go slow, have extremely long braking distances, and handle very dangerously compared to a car. All these people are worried about trying to beat a geo metro when they should be more worried about taking a corner going faster then 10mph.
I know right?

I agree with both you guys...
But sometimes... Track Days, etc...
It's fun / funny to see what a heavy azz truck can do.
my best was 7.6 on Edge level 3 with CAI and Gibson exhaust. Nothing special but it felt like it was flying compared to stock!
I have a 2004 Scab FX-4 with 33's and 3.73's.
just checked, my best was 7.4...

I have an '04 Lariat extended cab 4wd. I have a Flashpaq tuner from Superchips with dataloging.
I have played with the 0-60 times. My best time "which is still stored in the flashpaq" was 7.70
My truck has stock size tires. My only mods are the tuner, K&N CAI, and Flowmaster catback.
Not to bad for a big ol heavy truck IMO.

It's physics really. 0-60 @ 6 seconds on a 5800 lb beast means 450 bhp at the crank.
On a 4700 lb standard cab with manual everything and no extra goodies, you're still looking at 360 bhp at the crank. I don't think a tune would yield 60 bhp, even with exhaust, intake, and tail wind.
Full exhaust with headers, high octane tune, intake, efans, pulleys will probably net 60 rwhp. It'd still be damn close though.
