Engine Dying?

OK, so i left for work one day and noticed the truck started up really weak (battery). I went on to work and didn't think too much about it. That evening I had to be jumped off to get home. I went home parked it for 2 days because I simply didn't have time to deal with it. Come the next weekend, I went and got a new battery and installed it. Ever since then, the truck will die at a red light or when pulling into a parking place. It seems like steering prompts it to die when turning at a very slow speed (like parking). This was not happening before the battery replacement. Does anyone have any clue what this could be?

PS: The truck always starts right back up without a problem. But it does seem to have a low idle.

So I have been searching the forums.....

it sounds like I need to clean the throttle body for one. It also sounds like I need the pcm flashed? I know a dumb question, but can someone tell me how to clean the tb? Also, do I have to go to Ford to get the pcm reflashed? How much does that cost? Thanks guys

Is the throttle body and MAF the same thing? Sorry guys, I know.

this is a possibility but i have only seen this once....you could have a bad alternator and corroded battery cables at the same time, have the alternator checked at auto zone or advance for free, then if its bad check your cables not only at the terminals but check it down 8 or 12 inches this could cause it to want to die

Unplug the battery and wait 1 hour to clear all settings from the ECU. Then hookup battery and give it a test drive.
