33x12.5x20 Toyo MT's, drop in K&N, Flowmaster Super 44 with 3" from Y to 3" exit and 4" tip, XD Monster 20x9's, Edge level 2, 2" level....I average around 14.5 75% highway 25% city driving.

I'll be switching the exhaust out to 2.25" true duals with Dynomax Bullets shortly...will see what happens with power and MPG....hoping I can keep my foot out of it

Darn, ya caught me ... seriously, my truck doesn't get gas mileage. I guess it's just something I've come to accept since I'm moving close to a 7000 pound hunk of steel through the air.

You still get a value if you calculate miles per gallon. Even if your truck gets gallons per mile.

How many people are using their programmers/dash to read out AMPG? These numbers are probably skewed unless people are actually doing the math at the pump. I know my Edge usually says 14.5-18MPG but the actual is 12-13 city and 14-15 hwy...18.7 is my best on an extended cross state trip with all freeway.

If I recall correctly the shipping weight of my truck was around 5,500Lbs. Thats a 06 F-150 XLT 4X2. a 4X4 would be a little more.

I was expecting you to follow with an offer to sell your ski resort in Brownsville.

Mine: '05 xlt 5.4 3v 4x4 w/69k getting 16.2-17 mostly semirural driving. Noticably improved at about 50k, was 14.5-15.

Na!

Na, can't sell the resort yet. Still have to have a place to land my helicopter.

I average around 16 to at best 19 mpg combined but mostly highway.

I was wondering the same question. I always hand calculate my mpg's. Seems to be more accurate that way!!

I used the AMPG readout because it was always within 1 mpg of my hand calculations. But I've recently taken the AMPG off because I get better mileage with my truck than many friends get with their cars. Comparing that is good enough for me now.

Stock 06 mixed 50/50 gets right at 15 flat. Some times as bad aa 13 if id driving on the pipelines a lot for work and using 4wd more often and a best of 16.1 mostly Hwy going to a trap shoot.
