Well as I guy who has been blessed and has funds in bank, I elect not to mod out my truck. I just put the money towards smarter things - this is my way.

I have added Add a leaf springs and spacers in front along with an edge programmer. Otherwise - stock.
Truck is great as is and does all I ask it to do.

Maintenance incl fluid changes, rear diff fluid change, pinion seal and tranny fluid leak. Otherwise, truck has been great and I plan to keep it as long as I need a truck.....

So I say, take the $10k and buy some mutual funds and save for maintenance and/or replacement F150.

Dang there are some smart people chiming in over here.

If I HAD to spend the money on the truck and since the truck is paid off I'd build the motor and trans a bit then get something to add a little boost.
And if there is anything left over I'd buy a good dirt bike and nice little boat...for the truck of course.

Well... The tires I bought were a diff size - 265 was cheaper than 255 and the savings paid for part of the Edge. I also could get rid of top speed limiter - Only use once in a while when I want/need. Had an issue in OK once and I was not in my f150 but my Caravan. Well lets just say some crazy *** was crazy and I got away b/c he was speed limited.... Also, like to see my tranny temp when towing, mpg, etc......

So these things are worth it to me. PLUS, if/when I sell I can get some of my money back.

And I bought my Edge used for about half price...

I'd sell my truck and use that money and the 10k for a down payment on a 2011 SVT Raptor.

Engine internals, Kenne Bell SC, tuning, other supporting mods, beef up the tranny a bit.

I'd finish payin' my truck and probably put the rest toward a suspension upgrade and tires. If I still had money left, I'd put it toward a LEER 800 tonneau cover.
