2006 F150 Air Problem

My a/c and heat blow about 80-90% only on the floor. Very little air and heat blow through the dash and defrost vents. Does not matter what settings. Any ideas? I read some on the boards here about problems with air/heat only out of the defrost; but none about mostly on the floor. Thanks for replies.

Either your mode door actuator is broken, or our mode door itself is jammed. Do a search on mode door. Also you can search for my username, I had this problem a while back and have posts on this and how to fix it.

If it's your actuator is a simple fix. If your mode door is jammed(mine was by a piece of foam that lines the mode door), you have to take out the whole dash to get to it (real PITA). THis took me about 2 days of labor because you have to pull the whole dash out to the firewall.....
