Do I just mark the index on spline, drop the carrier and un-bolt the u joint and pull the shaft out of the tranny and fix? Someone please help and tell me the do's and dont's in putting AFTE (teflon) grease on my shaft spline? thanks alot in advance Jay... its a 2005 2WD supercrew with 5.4 and 2 piece shaft if that helps

Mine doesn't clunk, but I can tell it needs to be greased.
