lower steering shaft question

I have rebuilt a 2006 f150 that was hit in the front. I need to know if the lower steering shaft is supposed to wiggle where the upper ujoint attaches to the shaft coming out of the cab. There is a pinch bolt that attaches the upper piece at the ujoint but when its completly tight there is still some movement. Is it supposed to be that way? I had it apart to install a piece at the firewall on the steering shaft, but I would think the joint should be tight with no movement. You can wiggle it with your hand.

Well I figured it out! The shaft was bent a little. I removed it, straightened it and reinstalled it. Tightened right up with no wiggle. I reckon it was not lining up properly until it was straightened.
