Tuner

I have a friend who has I think the Evolution tuner that mounts to the dash board he want to sell. My only hesitation is will a tuner do damage to the truck, IE the trany, gears, timing ect.

Not sure about that, although, make sure that the device is not tied to his VIN, because that could prevent it from functioning with your truck.

It would be really nice to know the info on WHAT trucks you are asking about????????????????

As long as you don't screw around with a lot of the functions, then no it won't hurt your truck. Just make sure that he sets his truck back to stock or else the programmer will be locked.
