Supercrew lower ball joints

Has anybody replaced their lower ball joints on their supercrew?
I choose to just replace the ball joints rather than the whole lower control arm.

If not mistaken you have to get them pressed in and out. Most people just buy the new lower control arm and replace it

I replaced mine myself. Purchased ball joint from ebay for super cheap (guy bought them and sold his truck before putting them on) rented the ball joint press from advanced auto..its free..kinda. You have to pay but you get your money back when u return it. Wasnt too hard..just time consuming when doin it yourself. good luck

Done mine, they are replaceable. Buy Moog ball joints. I did a thread on this change and other suspension components.

My southern truck with no rust...They poped right out with a press. Took mabey 45 minutes tops since it all came right apart.

If I had bought it in Michigan it probably would have took longer but still easy

I wouldnt ever buy the whole thing. You can get a ball joint from advanced for about 45 bucks and then borrow the press and press it in. I wouldnt ever spend probably 300 bucks for that lower control arm (im sure its probably at least that much)
