how do i change fuel filter 2008 f150
I'll try to be a little more helpful than the previous poster.
You need these little things which you can pick up for about $5-$9 bucks at any auto parts store:

One side is a little clip you just use a small screwdriver to pup up and slide off and the other side you use those little disconnect tool. Here are some videos on youtube about what you asked:

and of course one of the best threads that will help you is located here:

All that has to be done is search for 'fuel filter change' and there are 3 or 4 decent hits right away. It also helps to know which filter he'd have, blue or red clip... that way he could add that to the search and get even better results.
Red clip:

blue clip

its really not difficult to find these results with the search tool.
