do i need a special tool to change fuel filter in 2008 f150

I'll try to be a little more helpful than the previous poster.


You need these little things which you can pick up for about $5-$9 bucks at any auto parts store:

One side is a little clip you just use a small screwdriver to pup up and slide off and the other side you use those little disconnect tool. Here are some videos on youtube about what you asked:

All that has to be done is search for 'fuel filter change' and there are 3 or 4 decent hits right away. It also helps to know which filter he'd have, blue or red clip... that way he could add that to the search and get even better results.

How about all you jackasses imagine this person to be someone new to forums or an older person who isn't up to par with the workins of a forums script.

Ease up guys. Go to the Articles and How To forum and check teh index. There are two or three threads on how to do the fuel filter change.

I have a 2004(no flex fuel) and I have the blue clip.
