ABS and Speed Sensors

Good morning everyone. I search, but to no avail. This past weekend my ABS light came on and stayed on. I took it to the dealer yesterday. They said it is the front right speed sensor and the cost to repair is $315. I declined the reapir at the moment as it is not causing any problems other than the light, which is off now since they cleared the codes.

All this being said, are there any DIY on this? I trust my dealer, so I don't think they are the problem. This is different that the rear differential sensor, which is evidently cheaper, and therefore, more sturdy.

Thanks in advance for any assitance.

If you have a 4x4, I am pretty sure that the ABS sensor is built into the hub. I replaced both front hubs recently for about $250.00 total. I did the labor. It's actually pretty easy. I used the National brand from Rockauto.com... It includes bearings as well...
