Before you go buy one, go follow mblouir's how to on fixing a window switch. I managed to fix my drivers side switch just by cleaning it off yesterday.

Can someone help me out. when i press the button to put my window up nothing happens... press it again and the window goes up. Some times it stops going halfway up and i have to press it again to get it to go up the rest of the way. Is that the switch failing?

I just priced a replacement switch assembly for my "06" at http://www.tascaparts.com/partlocato...&siteid=213668.
Part number 5L1Z14529AA with shipping is $58.85
This part is the complete block of switchs for the drivers door. It includes all 4 window switchs and the window lock switch.
I have had mine out twice no attempting to repair it and now the drivers window switch is broken. No "one" touch down and the button sticks in the window up position. It is an easy part to take out and change. Everything just unplugs.

Tasca Rocks they wanted 80 bucks locally for the same switch I ordered online from Tasca. Mine arrived in a New Ford Box with the Ford part number. Give them a call for your switch.

Just a heads up if the switch does not fix it pull the drivers door wiring boot in the door jamb out and check the wires. My 05 SC has been messed up from day one blowing fuses. Dealer replaced Cig lighter and something else under warranty. My power slider never worked when I wanted it to. Upon removing the seats and carpet tracing the bloody wires all the way to the drivers door boot the wires were actually cut at a 45 degree angle and I mean almost all of the wires. Two had then broken in half which is why my slider and all switches did not work.

I had to solder some butt connectors on w/heat shrink to repair it. Dealer wanted up to $700 to figure it out. Again what a crock as I know I am not the only one as the dealer said they saw the same problem on another customers truck. Seems like somone was having a bad day and slit the wiring harness before sliding the boot on.
