Found me a grille

I found me a FX2 grille at a salvage yard in Penn. for 130.00, I hoping they will ship it pretty cheap. All I will have to do is have the surround painted to match my truck. I will post pictures when it's all done. Beats paying 250.00 plus for one and still having to get it painted. I asked about the front and rear bumpers off the fx2 also. If they are a good deal I might pull the trigger on those as well.

I traded my Roush grille straight up for an FX2 grille. Cost me $0.

Come on, man. It's easy and right at your fingertips. Just go to eBay Motors and search fx2 grille.

I did and came with this in less than 20 seconds of searching.

Ok so looks like either way I go it will cost the same. if I get it on ebay I will have to paint it. Don't think the gunmetal gray will look good on my whit truck. It says on ebay that the mounting tabs have been ground off, will it fit and stay on?

Josh34, would you mind posting a pic or two of the backside of your installed grille to show where the tabs don't come into play? I'm interested picking up one of those fx2 grilles too but I don't want to get disappointed with a grille that rattles or doesn't install right.

You won't have to paint it just because your truck is white, look at mine in my gallery. If you paint it plan on painting it every few months the entire time you own it, they chip like crazy.

Thanks to you Stealth, I got the FX2 grille off of ebay. I got it this morning and I installed it this afternoon. I think it looks great, 60.00 total. I have a question for everyone, should I paint my grille surround white?
