Bought HighOn22's truck!

Well, picked up the beast this past Saturday. I was VERY impressed with how well he took care of this truck! It is immaculate, inside and out. Really cool guy to work with Just that deep Louisiana accent took some getting used too!

Heres a pic with my Bama "A" and the added toolbox.

I'm getting one just not at the moment. Need to save up a little more to put a big down payment. I want to see if the 2011's are going to have rebates, plus I can get the x-plan. If not I will look for an 08-09 with low miles. I will have something by next June.

For the past 2 weeks I've been on powerstrokenation. You just don't know how hard it is not go go buy one right now.

Haha I hear ya man. I have to keep reminding myself my truck will be payed off in a year, so don't get rid of it. Imo buying new is so over rated, I rather buy a one owner that took care of it

Sad to see your truck get sold as its gorgeous but glad someone bought it who is willing to come to the boards.

My co-worker just picked up a brand new F350 crew cab diesel with everything. He got about 10K in discounts plus free maintenance for 36K miles. He loves it and test drove a 2011 and didnt like the new 6 spd trannies as it had issues going uphill (boggin down or having to kick it into the next gear) also said the compression brake had to be used at 20MPH or lower and didn't do much. He couldn't pass up the deal on the F350 Lariat and dealer said there will not be much in incentives for the new '11's in the near future. The gas savings between the '11 and '10 just couldn't makeup the difference he got from the dealer in incentives up front.

Good luck on your new buy, his truck is beautiful

Iwent test drive the 2010 and 2011 a couple of weeks ago. Don't get me wrong, the 11 is much nicer, but I can't justify spending $60k+ on one. The price I can get an 08-09 with low miles will be enough to make up for the price in fuel. Plus I'll have a lot more extra $$$$ to put in mods.
