Mile Marker Guard and Winch

I'm wanting to put a winch on my truck and really like the Mile Marker brush guard that I can mount one of their winches on. I'm debating between the stainless steel and black, what do you guys think?
Here is a picture of my truck to see what you guys think...

you need to be a little more specific about the exact products you are looking at purchasing.

to say your mounting a winch on a brush guard would be a recipe for disaster the first time u went to use it.

oh.. and go for the black one. nice tires too

First off, NICE truck. I like what you have done. Seems like you and I have similar tastes.

I am torn. I truely believe that either black or chrome would look good. At first I say...go black. You have black handles, the bed cover, no white lettering on the tires, etc. On the other hand, your billet style grille and chrome surround throws the black out a little for me. And the real kicker in my book is your chrome nerf step bars. I personally would remove those (I did my factory Arizona beige ones)..but with those on the truck...I really think that the chrome MAY be your best look. I think the chrome brush guard would help accent the chrome touchs you already have, and help tie it all in together. I would then PTM your handles and mirror caps to make it cleaner. I think that combo right there would be jam up and jelly tight.

If you do go black, I would remove the steps and leave the handles black.

Just my two cents....hopefully it will help you a little.

I was not sure which brush guard that was so I looked it up. It appears to me that part of its going to black reguardless (see pic). So if picking black or stainless only changes the trim, I say get the stainless, it will tie in nice. Please correct me if this is not the correct one.

Yep. That's it. I think I'll just go with the stainless one. Thanks guys.

I have an 08 and can't mount one due to the small area behind the newer style bumpers. I'm getting a 12k # winch.

I'm running Nitto Trail Grappler 35x12.5x20 with a 2.5" AS levelling kit and 1.5" AAL. I had to get spacers for the wheels though so they wouldn't run on the control arm due to the massive side lugs and do some minor trimming.

I'd go with black! it will look really nice if you ask me but i am not a big fan of stainless so i am some what biased lol. when you get it all mounted up post some pics, also if you wanted you can mount a winch behind the bumper. i have a newer bumper on mine and just fabbed up a custom winch mount and it goes right behind my bumper and grill guard.

My advice: go Warn, on both the winch and a mount. A Warn Trans4mer painted tan would look amazing on that truck.

I'm not a fan of the Warn...too boxy and I could almost pay for a quality Mile Marker electric 12k lb. winch with the savings of the Mile Marker...
