Angry Door Weatherstripping Dented

I am trying not to be as **** about this truck as I was about my last vehicle (which was definitely not built Ford-Tough), but I just saw this weird dent in the driver's-side weatherstripping. I bought the truck used, so I guess it could be wear, but its not like this on the passenger side of the truck. Thankfully, it doesnt leak (yet) and we have had some decent downpours lately. But I guess I wanted to vent...anyone else have this? I guess I need to find out how much its going to cost to replace it.

Ever heard the sayings "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", or "if it ain't broke, fix it till it is" ? That's a natural occurrence. When the rear door is shut, it sweeps against the rubber and indents it. If you replace it, it will simply do it again in time. If you replace it at each oil change (that is IF you don't use synthetic oil), it probably won't have time to do it much, but that's assuming you're a banker and get to take all the samples home that you want. You said it doesn't leak, take it from a RECOVERING perfectionist, enjoy your truck and learn to relax a little. I can say from experience, perfectionists are tormented people and see things that virtually no one else sees. When I stepped back to see what it did to me and those around me, I began to recover, and I've never been sorry for that decision. Just a friendly piece of advice from someone who's traveled that road.
