Thanks for the link. That is a great site. Sucks for me that the closest station with ethanol free gas is 20 miles away.

I read in another thread that Florida just passed an E10 mandate. If that's the case, you won't be able to get pure gas anywhere unless there are exceptions written into the law. We have that here in MO - the only pure gas allowed is 92 octane full premium, and other grades during temporary supply disruptions where pure gas of the same octane would cost less than the E10.

This is just the kind of news I like to hear!!!

Oh well, so I got the fuel filter changed yesterday and I picked up 1.5 mpgs. A little happier with that.

That a pretty impressive gain, grab a bottle of injector cleaner next time you fill up and maybe see somemore improvements

Not just any injector cleaner - you want Chevron with Techron.

The rest are mostly junk.

And go easy on any wrench-in-a-can solutions. You really should not need to add anything to either the oil or the fuel if you run top-quality lube and tier-one gas, with good maintenance.

11-12 mpg seems about average for 35s. You can spend a grand doing all the tune ups but it will take a while o make that money back if you only gain 2 mpg. Not saying you shouldn't do it, just saying that if money is the only driving factor behind it you should crunch the theoretical numbers first.
